OPENING PAGE / TOP |
This Opening page contains a toolbar that has a lot of options displayed. It also includes icons regaining popular social networks that shows they are up to date and can relate to the business regarding online presence.
I can see that there a lot of repeated pieces of information such as these social networks and then some of the items on the toolbars at the top are then displayed with in the actual page as well as accompanying images. Im not sure whether this is a good thing. On one hand it gives the audience multiple chances to direct them selves to their desired aspect of the webpage. on the other hand it does appear that his can clutter the webpage and almost feel overwheling.

Regarding the Products available, I clicked on the Turkish delights page. This displayed the products that the company offered in a simple scroll down and view manner.
I don't like how the images differ in appearance, as in they are photographed differently, and I also don't like how they are displayed in little white windows. i feel that this makes the page seem unbalanced and this is also not helped by the fact that the products are aligned down the left hand side of the page.
I know that this does not really regard the webpage itself, but the fact that the packaging of products are all different, it feels that there isn't much consistency and the products do not seem specialised or recognisable to the brand.
Even though the colours are consistent through out the actual webpage, i don feel that they are particularly nice to look at and don't really reflect the culture in which turkish delight originated.

I feel that the visuals of this webpage are not very relevant to the product they are trying to sell. You could say that perhaps they are trying to modernise the thought and ethos to the origins of Turkish delight, however I do not think this has been done in a particularly successful manner. I feel that the image of confectionary along with the type and button across the middle of the page appears unbalanced and un-relatable to the actual product.
Unfortunately the colour scheme and almost awkward aesthetics runs through this website and there is a certain lack of imagery and feel to what the product and business is about or what it has to offer. When images are present with in the pages above they seem odd as the differ inside and are un even across the page with the accompanying type.
The only images present on this page seem consistent in content with the different types go delight available, however Having to view them through little boxes does not really add anything to the page. These images are to conformed to the boring layout.

The way in which you select what confectionary you want in your box is also very boring and office like which is not something you want when you are suppose to feel as if you are treating yourself. There is also no indication that you are able to choose a size of box you are allowed to purchase which gives the buyer a very narrow choice of purchase and may end up putting off the consumer.
