IMAGES SENT BY CLIENT.
I really like the string used on this invite and how there is a little trinket to the decoration in the packaging. I think this gives just that title bit extra to make the invitation special and really give a sense of the pride and specialness of the day.

Even though I do like the patterns used with in this invite, I feel that are are just too many incorporated at one time. I think this gives off a very hectic feel which isn't something that should represent the feel of a wedding day.

I likt the packaging created to house this invite and the other components that come with it. i feel that the specialised envelope gives off a sense of exclusiveness for the special day.

These images have been very helpful to understand the type of aesthetic that the client is requesting for her own invites. Utilising aspects of a nautical nautical is something I am defiantly going to play with as well as ensuring that each piece of the invite corresponds and remains consistent.

MY OWN RESEARCH

I love the envelope used here and how it reveals a the theme in a subtle yet clean way. I also really like the layout used on the invite and how there is a label to tie the document together.

I like the stripes used as a decoration here, however I think the other aspects such as type and images are a little to clinical for the type of aesthetic i am looking to achieve.

I really like the illustrative style of both the type and imagery used here. I also like the deeper darker navy blue as I think it gives off a richness in quality Even though I do like the aesthetics here. i don't like the layout used on the main page. I feel that there is definitely too many typefaces present and the space in-between each of the lines of type. The content also comes too close to the edges of the page.

I love the rustic feel that these invites have and the natural, hand rendered print methods used. If I had more time to experiment with different process for this brief i would love to create something a exquisite as these.

I really like the concept of this type of invite regarding the Notice of marriage inclusion to the brief. i feel that labels like this would have the sense of an actual notice and could be adapted to have the nautical feel that the client has requested.

These invitation concepts and designs are a little irrelevant to the ethos and design I have been asked to adhere to however i love the ideas and execution shown in these design. they really act as a source of inspiration to think beyond the norm.

I love the reference used in this invitation and how it goes through a different dynamic to the nautical sense. There care and effot taken to create such crafted work reflects this feeling on to the couple and the event they are promoting to friends and family.

I love the very visual concept used in this invitation design and i believe that this clever play on words and the opening mechanism of the card could be very suitable for the nautical theme requested for the client i am working with.

This is also another way in which the saying can be presented and utilised for an aesthetic with meaning. This is shown in a more subtle way were the ruffles of the rope is mirrored also by the method of print.
