OUGD504 / DESIGN FOR PRINT OTHER PRACTITIONERS
PACKAGING.
THE ILLUMINATION
RUSSEL SHAW
I really like the use of different stocks through out this project and how they are brought together consistently through the type of image and typography. The print on the inside of the box is also a very nice touch and is something a may consider when explaining to my audience what the product is about. To do tho I would have to choose the look I want considering print (foiling, flocking, screen printed etc.) and apply this while the box net is in its flat state.

CONTEMPORARY ART IN TURKEY
ESEN KAROL
I like the industrial feel this packaging creates regarding the crate like box. Because of the dynamics and robust nature of this packaging it is defiantly something that the audience would keep due to its substance and part of the project rather than something that would be discarded when opened. Using a wooden box for my own project is something that I have thought of due to its bespoke yet natural feels as I think this would reflect my content well. the fact that I am only have ing a book, swatch book and poster within the package my mean that a wooden package may seem over the top. if I did use wood i would be about to specify it to my product using many of the processes present in my product such as screen print and laser etching.

CHRISTMAS GIFT
POLITANSKI DESIGN
I really like the dynamic way in which this product is extracted from the packaging it is within. I feel that this makes the packaging an extremely essential part of how the product is received by the audience and works well to create a unique ethos that steers away from the norm.
